If you were a clothes designer what clothes would you make to wear for you and others and what footwear would you choose and why?

If I was a clothing designer, I would love the feeling of soft pyjamas.
I would design clothes that felt like my pyjamas there would be a whole range in different colours, some with hoods, and polo necks, and sweatshirt neck tops, but not sweat shirt material.
I would make long-sleeve T-shirts and short sleeved,  to be worn under neath.

The T-shirts would not feel cold when you put them on. Non of the garments would.

The trousers would feel soft and cosy. In fact all the garments would be made of soft cosy Pyjama like materials only. That would not bobble or catch hair in them, or have dog or cat hair stuck to them.

footwear: I would design would be soft boots that fit our ankles perfectly, they would feel very snug. I would design shoes that are in different colours, but are snug on the feet.
It would feel like your walking on a lovely soft spongy carpet. Socks would feel soft wouldn’t  bobble they would feel very soft and the wouldn’t fall down, they would stay in perfect position all day.  That would be lovely.
I would design coats that Were made wind and waterproof, with a soft snug hood, it would feel like wearing a sung dressing gown inside the coat. I would have a added extra piece  that could be used, it could be attached inside your hood it would fit soft over your ears which would block out loud noises.

If you were a fashion designer what clothes and footwear would you design and what would they feel like and look like?

  • I don't wear footwear except when it's below 5C and I'm outside but not doing anything very active, in which case I wear socks with a plastic coating on the bottom. I'd like to make the coating wrap around the foot more so the socks don't get wet from damp pavement. A version cool enough to wear in summer might be helpful too, perhaps with the upper made of very light mesh? And the sole slightly thicker so they're useful on gravel, without being rigid so my foot cramps.

I'm very happy with mens t shirts and hoodies as they are. I'd like trousers that are soft but short enough that they don't trail on the ground, with lots of pockets. Wide in the calves and thighs but elasticated on the waist so they don't gape.
