Good evening all, its my first time posting has I am at my wits end, I feel so alone.
My son is 6 years old
He doesn't have any diagnosis
My son is autistic its very obvious to myself, family and our friends.
His behaviours ect I will list at the bottom, issue I am having is school they say he's a good kid (I never said he wasn't) and doesn't show anything at school.
His class teacher does see some things has we have already discussed it...
The school will not help me so I can't get my son to see a paediatrician for an assessment has no matter which way I turn doors are being slammed in my face, our G.P says they cannot refer him to a local paediatrician and to make a referral to the Children's behaviour and emotional team, I have done 2 years ago.. I got a call from a support worker who had said the children's behaviour team has said early intervention.
For me to get him to see a paediatrician I have to do a parenting course Tripple P and sleep tight course has to be completed 1st.
Then on the phone Wednesday the Support worker said after a certain amout of time I can re refer my son, upon asking what does she mean has a refferal is in place she wouldn't answer.
So I called the behaviour team up and my sons case has been closed.
I have been back to the G.p, Health visitor and no one is listening... I am so tired and emotionally drained fighting a system that doesn't seem to care.
I question myself all the time but I know my son is autistic.
Its so sad the system is failing there is no support until a child has a diagnosis.
Can anyone tell me what else I can do?
Sadly I am not in a position to go private or i would..
1) prefers to be naked
2) talks very loud
3)talks over us

23) facial ticks Eye, nose, mouth, he's had that roughly 13/14 months. Dr has said no referral necessary has he doesn't have vocal along side it.
24) he gets really angry but its out of frustration, he throws toys, hits kicks, slams doors ect.
25) He's started putting his fingers in his mouth, I have asked him to stop but he said its the only thing he can do to fidget without it getting taken off him. He means his tongue.
He takes his self out the way if anyone comes to the house.
Even when nanny and grandpar comes he hides behind the curtain or goes upstairs.
He's also started to not sit on his bottom at school but crouches down and bounces on his feet...
Sorry for the essay but it actually feels good to get it all of my chest.
