This is to address the lack of professional qualifications held by professionals when interacting with autistic adults and is here to give autistic people factual advice and information so they are not victim to abuse or put at a disadvantage due to their Autism diagnosis

  • FOR ALL AUTISTIC ADULTS ATTENTION

    AUTISM ACT 2009

    CARE ACT 2014

HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ACT 2015

STATUTORY GUIDANCE FOR LOCAL AUTHORITIES & NHS ORGANISATIONS IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ADULT AUTISM STRATEGY

I HOPE THIS HELPS THOSE WHO ARE NOT FULLY AWARE OF THEIR RIGHTS EVERY HEALTH & SOCIAL WORKER HAS A DUTY OF CARE WHICH INCLUDES COMMUNICATING WELL VERY IMPORTANT WHEN DEALING WITH AUTISTIC INDIVIDUALS - DID YOU KNOW ANY SOCIAL WORKER CARRYING OUT ANY ASSESSMENT HAS A STUTATORY OBLIGATION TO UPHOLD WHICH MANY DO NOT THIS INCLUDES SUPPORTING A DISTRESSED AUTISTIC ADULT AND HAVING THE PROFESSIONAL QUALIFCATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCE & KNOWLEDGE TO CARRY OUT SUCH ASSESSMENT - DID YOU ALSO KNOW YOU DO NOT NEED A INDEPENDENT ADVOCATE (STRANGER) BUT CAN HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND WHO KNOWS YOU THIS CAN HELP IF THEIR ARE COMMUNICATION DIFFICULTIES

  • In the UK I am aware that a lot of adults are unaware fo their rights and are taken advantage of and mistreated by a lot of professionals in a position in power with in the police, local authority being social workers and Cafcass and also includes certain courts who are biased towards the professional during court proceedings and what there perception of a family life is despite doing no work with that family and only reading paperwork to come to a decision
