Can someone explain something to me?

Something just happened to me and I'm not quite sure what it was. I will try to explain it as best I can but I'm not grate it this type of thing.

I was having a shower as I need to be up early for an open day event for university so I was making sure I smelled nice (after my parents told me to. I'm not grate at telling when I need to shower and things). My eyes started to hurt and it felt like I was seeing what your eyes see when you are sleeping or you close your eyes really tight, only there wasn't a black backround because my eyes were open. It started feeling like I was floating away and like there was static (like things weren't real). I'm not entirely sure what happened after that, but the next thing I remember is the shower going cold.

I don't know if this was explained very good but it is the best I can do. If anyone has any idea on what happened would they please let me know?

  • It sounds like fainting. Something that can trigger it is getting upright very quickly from being laid down. This, combined with the heat of the shower diverting blood to your skin and dilating peripheral blood vessels could have led to a temporary dip in blood flow to the brain leading to a partial loss of consciousness. I have had similar events happen when standing up from an over-hot bath.
