NHS assment times, whats yours?

I was wondering are any of you seeing that NHS assment times seem to be massivley increasing? In jan 2020 I went to my GP and they reccomended me for a Autism and ADHD assment. I am 100% on the autism side, not convinced I have ADHD. Today I finally get through to who will take me for the assment, that is the Surrey borders trust. Having been told at the start it was 2 years we are now looking that its will be nearer 3! They are dealing with assments from September 2019 and all they can say is that it will be this year!If I had been in the same place as I was two years ago I would be ok, but I am not. 2020 completely broke me and although I am slowly recovering my problems are 200% bigger than there were when refered.

Anybody else seeing silly waiting times?

  • my experience took six years from 2013 to 2019 at age sixteen in Norfolk. This meant that i missed out on higher education because i could access the additional support until i had a formal diagnosis. I've particle waited a decade now for an ADHD assessment which recently found out that you can not seek an autism assessment and adhd assessment at the same time so my ADHD assessment wasn't placed onto the waiting list until after the autism assessment. I am now have to wait until october to see psychiatry UK through right to choose because i had enough of the NHS pathways, excuses and lies.
