NHS assment times, whats yours?

I was wondering are any of you seeing that NHS assment times seem to be massivley increasing? In jan 2020 I went to my GP and they reccomended me for a Autism and ADHD assment. I am 100% on the autism side, not convinced I have ADHD. Today I finally get through to who will take me for the assment, that is the Surrey borders trust. Having been told at the start it was 2 years we are now looking that its will be nearer 3! They are dealing with assments from September 2019 and all they can say is that it will be this year!If I had been in the same place as I was two years ago I would be ok, but I am not. 2020 completely broke me and although I am slowly recovering my problems are 200% bigger than there were when refered.

Anybody else seeing silly waiting times?

  • Thanks for the replies, seems I am not alone. For me I just want to know what my enemy is. What of my problems is autism and what maybe something else. The annoying thing is I went to my GP in january but the assment request wasn't processed until march, so I lost a couple of months. Frustrating!
