My mother is making me homeless

I know it might seem impossible, but you should really try to reconcile with your mother.  Being homeless is a lot worse than washing dishes and putting up with some stick - your life will be way, way worse I promise you.  And this dream of some rich older woman taking you in is just foolish.  I'm sorry speak harshly but life just doesn't work that way.

At least with a roof over your head you can start to build a life for yourself.  You say you're an educated man, an opportunity many of us never had, so put that education to work.  When you have your own money coming in you can move out of there and live the life you want to live.

My book came out a long time ago so I can't do that.

You got a plan! Put on your suit and fix your hair. It's Saturday, get out there! Bookstores and the library. You need to have a signing for your book, are you comfortable with that, public reading and Q&A?

The only situation I want is for a  nice middle class (or wealthier) woman to let me stay in her house. I won't go into a hostel because I know there are too many scallies out there. I also won't live in council housing or any cheap areas because I've done that in the past and can't tolerate some of the idiots who you have to live next to. I'd rather end it all than live among poor people again. I'm an educated man, I wrote and published a novel. I'm very sensitive and have strong sensory needs. I can't tolerate too much noise or commotion. I believe I will get the situation I desire because I deserve it and can bring a lot of love and joy to a special woman's life.

Sounds like you might be better off somewhere else. Have you considered the domestic abuse hotline? They might help you find you a temporary home too.

Because I refused to wash dishes because of my abusive father coming into the kitchen. She accused me repeatedly of not doing my duties.

I hope you are right about it, good luck! What happened anyway? Why did she get so upset with you, if I may ask.

Not really but I'm not worried I have always been a good man so I am sure the gods will make sure I find a home.
