I have found that barbers are less nervous than hair dressers and seem to handle oddities more. We have found an understanding barber who letsmy son play on his ds for the whole cut, that way we can avoid the years and wriggling. Oh and we have found that using the clippers is much less distressing than attempting a scissor cut.
