Autism and the haircut,, always been a huge problem for me. What about you ?
Hi..We took our 4 yr old so to have his haircut once at a hairdressers & to say the least it was not a very nice experience for both our so & us.. So afterwards i said that i would cut his hair, bareing in mind whenever i cut his hair it is a grade 4 or 5 all over which suits him. First off i had a pair of plug hair clippers which would take anywhere up to 3- 4 hrs to cut his hair as he would just wonder off. But now i have a par of cordless clippers & if he decides to go on a walk about, then i can just follow him & it takes 1/2 hr to get his hair done. Which for us is a win-win situation without any complete meltdowns or tantrums thrown in.... Oh & it saves us money.lol
