Private assessment

Hi I'm considering pursuing a private diagnosis, but don't really know what's the norm for that or not. I've been told the following and wondered if it sounded ok to pursue? Is there anything I should ask first?

"The assessment process follows the structure listed below and I would be delighted to help and support you through the process

Adults (£1750)

  • ADI-R Assessment (up to 3 hours) with informants via Google Meet
  • ADOS-2 Assessment (1 hour) face to face with you
  • Multi-disciplinary Meeting (1 hour) carried out by our team of clinicians internally
  • Feedback Session (1 hour) with you and the lead clinician via Google Meet
  • Final Report - Usually provided within 4-6 weeks of the Feedback Session
The process follows the gold standard NICE Guidelines, with each of our clinicians registered with their respective professional regulatory bodies and reference numbers available on request. You would be observed by at least two different clinicians with each case being overseen by a lead clinician.

Currently, we are able to offer the initial ADI-R appointment within the coming weeks, following receipt of the payment amount highlighted above."
