Newly diagnosed ASC female YA

I see you are studying. It might be worth approaching your uni / college to make them aware of the diagnosis. Not nessacerally lectures but some one from disability services at least?

We live in an world that is increasingly intolerant of difference and you may need that diagnosis as a shield against that one day.

Hi, yes I thought so too, but the person who diagnosed me kept saying asc- I'm guessing they think saying disorder is disempowering? Thank you for the reply

Welcome Ina - ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition) is a new one on me, I thought it was ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) but it seems they are interchangeable.
