Loss of time.

I don’t know if it’s just me but I get periods of time loss.  If I am doing something inane such polishing a car, I can all of a sudden stare at it. The next time I look at the clock ten minutes can have elapsed and I have no memory of that time.

I’ve always done it. I spoke to a friend  a few days ago who has Aspergers, he then realised that he has always done it when he is using a computer and doing something boring. Does anyone else have similar experiences?

  • i don't think i can explain just how much i relate to this!!

especially transitioning from one task to another- there's always so much dead time. i constantly hate myself for it but i can't exactly control it.

i find in the middle of tasks i completely zone out, even midway conversations.

i'm still unsure as to how to stop being so frustrated at myself for it though
