I like that. I'm collecting quite a few T shirts with autistic identity affirming statements. I love the Purple Ella one: "My neurons rock". Also the one which says: "Why fit in when you were born to stand out?".
I am rather wondering whether the T shirt which reads "Kiss my Aspergers" might be going a bit far, but I do have one which reads: "I don't suffer from Asperger's. I enjoy every minute".
I am glad you like the acronyms, it is really important that you develop a positive autistic identity. I want to get some autism t-shirts too but I don’t know if I would feel comfortable wearing them until I am formally diagnosed.

Thanks for your reply. It’s good to know that you don’t feel self conscious. I want to wear autistic pride t-shirts but I don’t feel confident or safe enough for everyone to know yet.
I don’t want to conform, we as a society should embrace difference instead.
I guess we all need to deal with that one in our own way and much depends on our circumstance; who we've got around us and whether their attitude is positive, are our colleagues supportive etc?
I have another colleague who is 'loud and proud' (her words) about her diagnosis because she wants the young people we work with, some of whom are on the spectrum themselves, to see that they can achieve and have successful lives too. I'm with her on that.
Anyway, my dress sense has always been a bit quirky and I've never cared. I've never really felt a need to fit in anyway and I wear what I like. It's only intended to please me. I accept others as they are and hope they'll repay the complement and accept me. So, no. Personally, I don't feel self-conscious.
I might research Autistic Pride t-shirts online. Do you feel self conscious when wearing the t-shirts? I am really proud that I am autistic but I am not comfortable yet to disclose that to everyone I meet.
