How do I know if my child has autism, ADHD, both or something else.
Below are the following characteristics:
1 speaks single words and can describe objects without being asked
2 Has a specific diet and only eats these foods blended
3 very poor attention span
4. Continously runs around
5 when out shopping wants to go on lifts non stop
6. Very bright compared to peers
7. Takes of item of clothing if it gets wet
8. Will not dress up for world book day, Halloween etc
I'm just unsure what this is

it's possible to learn to mask behaviour resulting from ADHD, so doctor didn't notice
very poor attention span
ADHD makes us to switch focus, not lose focus, not neccessarily on something we want to do
probably most complicated of ADHD traits to befriend
don't lock it in a closet it's a powerful friend
it's good he is running, he will need it against bullies
ask him/her if he/she can see things in his/her head, when you are asking for description
