Anybody watched Asperger's Are Us on Netflix?

Hey, has anyone else watched watched "Asperger's Are Us" on Netflix?

It really looked like me and my friends when when we were / are being silly.

It was released about 15-20 years after I was their age but they way they interact, the humour and way they are with each other seems identical to what we were doing, just without labels - and trying to make / fake our way in life or create a niche that we could live in as (semi-grown up child) adults.

The fun bit is, that despite being grown-ups and having all the boring stuff that comes with it, that fun is still in there - just scratch the surface, put real life on hold for a minute (day or two) and the direct internal connection is still right there.

  • I saw it when it first came out but I couldn't get into it. I did not watch the entire thing.. because I found it very boring and the first part had nothing to do with aspergers or anything really. For an aspergers movie I will recommend Ben X, that really hit home in places.

  • "Ben X" is indeed a powerful film that addresses some of the intense realities and challenges faced by individuals with Asperger's. It's impactful when a film can strike a chord and offer that deep sense of connection and understanding. What aspects of "Ben X" did you find particularly relatable or hit home?
