Is it possible for me as an autistic person to become less egocentric?

It’s the main problem for me: SELF SELF SELF

If everything is about me, for me, to me, only me

it’s

LONELY

note the problem even in that phrasing of the issue:

i Want the solution FOR ME

ME

ME

ME

Is it possible for me as an autistic person to become less egocentric?
can I practise?

How?

is it reasonable to really focus on DOING FOR OTHERS?

or is my innate cynicism going to smother all attempts at altruism?

ENLIGHTENED SELF-INTEREST is less cynical than SELFISH.

Getting for me alone feels less beautiful than giving.  I seem to make the world a better place when I focus on what I can give

oh no, egocentric sermon?
