Look around you. Aren't most people quite stupid, short-sighted and selfish?
It's actually astonishing all we have now exists. The internet, TVs, mobile phones, debit cards, wireless data, rockets in space.
I suppose if you look at it in that way there is hope. Somehow we've go to this point. I just can't for the life of me figure out how because every system I've ever come into contact with - public transport, colleges, schools, social services, etc. - has been dysfunctional, incompetent or corrupt.
I think I just must be someone who has very high standards and I'm impatient for other people to catch up. I probably overlook a lot of good things.
