3 years ago I gave up smoking. I replaced cigarettes with Nicorette gums. Needless to say I've passed the 6 month maximum use mark. I've read some bad things about long ther use of nicotine gums, such as insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia. I'd like to replace them with other, regular, sugar free gums that have no or very faint flavour. Spearmint, eucalyptus and peppermint give me heartburn. I don't like any of the usual gum flavours. Smoking and chewing gum are both socially acceptable stims. I currently chew these gums for long after they've lost all their mild flavour and all the nicotine has been released.
Any advice would be great!
Thanks
