My daughter is adhd and has just had a diagnosis of ASD. My daughter is 10. I had been advised to watch my daughter with her medication as it could be causing side affects. I had taken her off her meds as advised by her paediatrician for a weekend and the weekend was the best she had been. Then I put her back on her meds as this is what I thought the paediatrician ment. After speaking to the paediatrician again as she had turned again from the Wednesday to Friday he said I need to take her back off her meds and see how she reacts. Since doing this I have the same problems as when she’s on the meds except she’s also fidgeting a lot more. She had gone to my mums a couple of days and my mum has had no problems but when she’s been home all I get is issues.
- Most my issues are trying to get her to school as she doesn’t walk with me she walked off to the park near me when were meant to be going to school causing her to be late and also crossing roads and walking in the middle of roads.
- Another problem is she keeps hitting and kicking her sister and pulling her hair.
- she also keeps hitting me again
If anyone has any advise that may help feel free to send it my way
