Reasonable Adjustments

Hi All,

I've recently been diagnosed with ASC in my fifties.

One of the recommendations from my assessment was that I need to discuss reasonable adjustments to my working environment with my employer.  I work in a busy office, or at least I did back in March 2020 pre-Covid.  We're due to return early 2022, although I'd be much happier to remain working from home.

HR have advised that I think about what reasonable adjustments I'd like to propose and then get back to them.  Things like lower lighting and noise levels would be a great benefit, as would fewer interruptions and more defined responsibilities.

I'd like to ask the people in this forum whether they've been through this process, what adjustments they have found useful, what issues they've come up against and whether anyone is pursuing working from home permanently.

Many thanks in advance.
