Having a dillema

I want to move to my Artist Friend's home, until my new bungalow is ready. His sister has moved back to Paris, but he said that he'll have to think about it.

He then told me, today, that he has come out as Gay and says he feels uncomfortable with another man staying at his place. It doesn't affect our friendship, on my end, but this is a bit of a bombshell.

I feel that, while the new owners aren't telling me so, I feel that they're forcing me out by stealth. Plus, there are no short-term rents available in my local area.

  • I forgot to add, Desmond. If you do decide to move in with your friend, then make sure you are both clear about the duration of your stay. Also make sure you both clear on what expenses you are liable for during your stay.  And make sure you understand and agree to the house rules (what time doors are locked, acceptable noise levels, access to shared or private areas).
