how to have a conversation?

Hi, I feel a bit stupid writing this. I really struggle with conversations and I know that a lot of autistic people struggle with conversations but I was wondering if anyone had developed any strategies for having conversations? How can I have a long conversation? My conversations last about 2 minutes and then I run out of things to say. I would really like some advice.

  • I get where you're coming from. Conversations can be tiring and difficult. But I've found the more you do it the better you get, something I do which you may find helpful is talking in the mirror. Pretend that you're talking to someone else. It's a great way to get better at Conversations and figure out what to say.
