Aspies and Vets are disproportionately hit by the Justice system, statistically. When I was diagnosed, the Prof commented it's a miracle I don't have a criminal record a mile long. Much of that's because we're not normal. Someone's started looking about it, and asked me for thoughts. The only person I'm really qualified to talk about, though, is me, so I've been watching some of the frustration comments on here. The Police have come to realise their understanding of the Law is very stilted, and are thinking how to handle particular groups better. I'm thinking, for example, about the recent reactions to someone's experiences being would up by some teenagers. They were quite aggressive, for reasons I understand, but are not neurotypical. This starts me thinking in the direction of jury composition.
