Hi,
Where do I start when trying to get my 19-year-old son diagnosed? I have had my suspicions since he was very young but he has always coped well. He has now finished his first year of uni and has really struggled with everything really. Obviously, the waiting lists on the NHS are long, so I was thinking of getting him a private diagnosis, but I don't know where to start?
Can anybody help me, please?

Thank you so much!! That has helped so much! Could you share the doctors' contact information with me, please? We have listed such 'weird' occasions when we have spoken about this so typing it up wouldn't be a problem. We have a fantastic relationship and he does talk to me which makes things much easier.
