I’m  a 46 and I’ve known-that  I have been different all my life but couldn’t work why one day I was on you tube and came across this woman who has aspergers every think she said was me 

so I went to my doctor and got on the autism assesment list they sent me some forms I filled them in with the help of my mum and a few days later they wrote back saying I don’t meet there criteria and I’m not having my assesment done . I don’t understand why .they didn’t even want to meet me to talk about it. I don’t know what to do now . I live in Lincolnshire .can anyone help

  • hmmm it might depend on what you filled in on the form perhaps? 
    obviously the rejection came after you filled and sent the forms so i guess there was something on the form they was looking for that you didnt fill in how they wanted or expected? or didnt tick enough of the stereotype boxs they judge by?

    could also be a blanket rejection due to them not wanting to do any work or being overburdened by the amount of applicants they have to go through? i heard they are pretty full on waiting list so i guess they are just rejecting people now out of being too full?
