There was no Zoom Quiz on this evening, but a few ones did come in for a natter.
The conversation was mainly around working in major offices in Belfast. Allstate - major US Insurer - have IT offices in Belfast, and they sound like Sweat Shops. That was also the impression I got from the job at the Covid Lab with Randox in Antrim.
God protected me by giving me a negative experience of work in the big smoke. I was in the Civil Service - at the Department which made me Public Enemy number one - and I was a mess then, due to depression and resentment.
Now, seventeen years later, I realise that I live in a good part of the World. Those I know really care.
