I know everyone !

Social phobia and anxiety are a daily occurance for me. Good days if my bowels are okay or I am in a familar place.

However, I am experimenting with pretending I know everyone in the street. This to bring about a sense of social familarity and if someone walks towards me or deep down I feel world is somehow going to overwhelm me,, it gets me ready in a soft way instead of the tension watch out hypervigelence way. So if they speak to me, it is not a surprize or anxiety shock. It also softs my view on the world at bit.

I'll lets you know how I get on Smile seen as I know you's.

  • Autismtwo - how inventive of you - what a brilliant idea! It's surprising what we can do to help ourselves isn't it. Who knows, that person walking towards you might be more nervous than you and relieved if you smile at them when you pass.

Lots of luck - hope it works - keep smiling. x
