I've noticed a few people on the forum say words to the effect of "unless I'm just basically horrid".  I very much doubt that a "horrid" person would be capable of even pondering the question... they just go about life being "horrid" and not caring, I'm sure.  Sounds more like you've suffered from other people's horrid behaviour.
