Appointment Cancelled the day before

Hello, I was recently supposed to be having my second, diagnostic appointment with the nhs, however the say before my appointment I was called and told my appointment was cancelled and would be 'at some point in the future dont ask when' (a direct quote from the person on the line) and I am very anxious about this and was wondering if anyone has been put in a similar situation?

  • it means like maybe a crucial member of staff has reported ill or has been dragged into something more serious. Unfortunately the staff in NHS are very over worked and pretty much knackered in places.

    I know, its not nice to be cancelled at short notice but you will be called again. keep the original appointment data so u can ring in say one month to enquire if u are still in the waiting list.

  • I have experienced appointments being cancelled at last minute and it does make me very anxious. They didn't even tell me when the appointment would be rescheduled to.
