Hi new to here,
My 2yo boy would regularly headbut, have meltdowns that last for over an hour that i literally can't control. I am a 2nd time mum and these aren't the normal terrible 2s. He has started to hate going into a shop so everytime I go into a shop he has a full on meltdown, if someone that isn't a regular face comes into my house He will squeal and headbut the whole time until they leave. Happened today, I know he is very young so it's so hard to tell. He also has took a notation He hates the bath so every bath time is a nightmare. His speech has regressed massively he isn't talking only mama and dada although he seems to understand everything I'm saying eg he can follow simple instructions. He is very affectionate if I ask for a hug and kiss he will do that. He will repeatedly watch the same programmes on TV if I changed to something else would result in a meltdown. The gp has referred him to a peadatrician and also to speech and language no appointments have came through yet. Sorry for long paragraph but has anyone any advice how to deal with him when he is so young? He wouldn't understand a star chart or anything yet. Does he sound like he is on the spectrum?
