The Herculean Effort just to be normal

All I had to do this afternoon was head over to a house for a viewing. It became a Survivor Immunity Challenge. I left the house two hours early, due to my anxiety, and I was trying to find places to go to and even went to the Chemist at that village, just to use the loo. However, I got £20 of diesel at a filling station run by an old school friend, and came back to the house in good enough time.

But, then, the driveway was blocked by other viewers, and it was impossoble to get out without reversing onto the main road - an illegal manoeuvre - and drove home in such a panic I was at one time doing 70 MPH on a B Road.

But, on a positive note, my weighted blanket - which I ordered from Etsy on Monday - came today. It was just what the Doctor ordered. And a few outreach calls have calmed me down.

  • I have done but carving isn't something I do day to day because of where our products went, so mostly it's work with softer leather, think like glove leather and it's more about molding it, shaping, stitching and painting. It's fun, very relaxing, the best job I've ever had.

Your carving question did just give me an idea for a design though.
