should I tell Uni about awaiting ASD assessment

I need some advice from anyone who might have been caught in this weird time period before.

I believe I may have ASD, as does my school nurse, my councillor and my close friend who is autistic and, after some explanation on autism, my parents, and was referred for assessment by my GP in November, just after turning 18, as the children's services wouldn't take me as I was too close to being an adult for their waiting lists (as well as the fact that my GP originally erroniously referred me to CAMHS who don't do autism assessments unless you're already recieving their services, which took about four weeks when they sent that off and then waited for a reply) and the adult services wouldn't accept a referral until I was actually 18.

Due to COVID exacerbating already lenghty waiting lists, I have yet to have a triage appointment and have just been contacted saying that they'll send me an appointment when I reach the top of their list but with no indication of when that might be.

The issue is that the university I have an offer for is sending lots of forms to fill in about a variety of stuff but there is a lot about anything that they need to know about accomadations or disability wise. I am taking a gap year, so there is plenty of time before I attend in 2022 for me to make my way up the waiting list, however as I'm a deffered offer they're asking for all the information now.

I would like to know if anyone else has had to deal with accessing accomadations or providing information for services during this weird limbo and how they dealt with it or any advice anyone might have about navigating uni while awaiting diagnosis, and partly living away from home while you may be asked to attend local appointments for assessment.

Any advice is greatfully welcomed.
