How to deal with new equipment

So my gaming mouse recently broke after like 7 years of use and no matter what i do i, every mouse i try it feels wrong, its to big, its to small, to sharp, to smooth, and its driving me insane, i have now been trying to find a new one im comfortable  for 6 months and its stressing me out and ruining my mental health. does anyone have any tips for how to handle these situations

EDIT: Op here, thank you for all your replies but i have tried getting the same model several times now but non feel right, right button to stiff, left to wobbly and so on, i know that i dont really have a choice but to get used to a new one but its completely breaking down my sanity

I can completely get where you're coming from.  As someone has suggested, you can of course go online to ebay and try to find someone selling the exact same make and model mouse as you have, OR, what I tend to do is I go to a store where I can see and feel before buying.
Of course I do understand that visiting as store can be stressful to some and if is a situation you find tricky, maybe ask a close understanding friend to go with you as support and possibly try late night or Sunday shopping as there's less likelyhood of it being too overwhelmng
