ASD assessment (finally lol)

Hello there,

I've just booked my ASD assessment for next month (have waited ages for this)  I feel nervous, emotional but excited too as it'll be good to get some answers.

Can anyone share what their ASD assessment was like for them and how it affected you?

  • i was so nervous ..... but  just got on with it   I just wanted it over ASAP . The assessors where very gentle, kind, respectful, and patient.  Mine was pre covid so i it was face to face me doing tasks as they watched. I did my best and thats all you can do. In my assessment nothing was difficult to do.  Think of it as a chat with some nice people.  

    I was just glad to get it over with and willing to accept whatever they decided/found

    I was expecting, not to be autistic, but no i was.
