Well maybe for your wife and yourself perhaps read The Complete Guide to Asperger's Syndrome, by Tony Attwood, which really helped me to understand and narratively reframe my life experiences and sensibilities once having been diagnosed, and for your children also maybe My Parent has an Autism Spectrum Disorder ~ A Workbook for Children and Teens, by Babera Lester. There are other such books too that might be more suitable for your families needs, and further helpful suggestions yet to follow! :-)

How does it affect you in the ways that they would witness?     They might be a bit young to understand about stress and anxiety without accidentally programming it into them too.
