Fined for forgetting to renew prescription pre-payment

A couple of years ago I got fined because I forgot to renew my annual prescription prepayment certificate and ended up paying £700 in fines. Could someone tell me if this means I now have a criminal record?  I need to know this as I understand I am ineligible for jury service if I have a criminal record.

  • no, if you are concerned you can argue your case and get the fine revoked. You can contact citizens advice & other organisation that can point you into the right direction on how to do this. If you forgot because of neuro development disorder the surgery dispensary may be at fault.
