Does anyone else laugh at their own jokes?

Something I do is laughing at my own jokes. Sometimes, I walk down the street or sit on the bus and something amuses me, and I start laughing to myself - I can't help it. Neurotypicals find this very uncomfortable... I guess it comes from loneliness, you find ways to amuse yourself.

Does anyone else do this?

  • I know neurotypicals who do this as well, and you can even see it in film, but typically it will be a small chuckle, or a corner of the mouth turned up in a smile

    are you like...cakcling to yourself? Ngl i’d feel uncomfortable if someone started laughing outloud next to me to. What i do is just cover my mouth with my hand and smile to myself
