Does anyone else laugh at their own jokes?

Something I do is laughing at my own jokes. Sometimes, I walk down the street or sit on the bus and something amuses me, and I start laughing to myself - I can't help it. Neurotypicals find this very uncomfortable... I guess it comes from loneliness, you find ways to amuse yourself.

Does anyone else do this?

Parents
  • They are usually the funniest! I make up something really funny in my head, but it's way too long and complicated for anyone else to understand no matter how much I try to explain the joke. May not help that I tend to laugh a lot when explaining, but still. It's hilarious and my own jokes are the only I don't need any extra time to figure out what's funny about it.
