Delays with DWP

Hi folks!

I'm not sure if this is a unique experience or not, but here goes...

I had a terrible time with PIP - the assessment was abusive, almost accused of lying, etc.. the typical assessment. A couple of weeks later, I got the UC assessment which was a lot better.

The results were that with PIP, I had to go to court to get my points raised from zero. I got standard living and enhanced mobility.

With the UC, I was put into the LCW category. I was so drained after the PIP process that I didn't contest it. It was due to have been reviewed last March. In the year prior to that, I got 3 or 4 phone calls from the job center to see if anything had changed - that was the extent of communication from them.

My intention last year was to push for LCWRA. Then Covid hit so no forms were sent out. After the lockdown, I kept on at them to send the forms for the assessment. I got them and sent them back in September last year.

Since then, I've heard nothing. I had to ring twice to get them to acknowledge they had received the forms. I've tried a couple of times to get an update and just get told they will contact me if they need anything else.

So, here I am now, over a year since I was supposed to be re-assessed, and almost 7 months since they received the forms back. Is there a legal route I can take to force them into a decision?
