Digging a hole on the Internet

I have been desperately looking for a way out of what I see as a terrible situation, but the more I look , the more I find other people and other things that I realise I have missed out on and got wrong. It’s not a solution I find but even more things to worry about.

NLP, CBT, all makes me feel a failure.

any ideas?

  • Buddhism has helped me. I'm not a Buddhist. In fact, I found that life made far more sense when I took religion out of the equation. But Buddhist philosophy is very practical, simple things like taking the time to enjoy the task your currently working on rather than rushing through to the next one. I decided to do that this weekend and ended up getting a lot more done than I have in ages. They also have meditation in various formats such as silent, chanting etc. I thought chanting was silly but it's great when my brain can't settle down. It's all a slow process, you won't get overnight benefit from any process.
