I was just thinking about peculiar behaviours I had as a child and one was to eat raw me. Usually just read meat. I am wondering if this was an early sign of autism and how many other people on here have had similar experiences if at all?

I'm the same about seperating foods! Even as an adult.

I do the same thing but I also need to calculate which taste I want to be the last one in my mouth - to savour it a bit more
I always balance it out so I eat a portion of each equally. Which involves making calculations constantly in my head to determine how much I need to eat of which food before I move onto the next, in a cycle... Funny that I never knew I was autistic until a year ago, you'd think that things like this made it obvious.
Separated food must be eaten in the correct order as well.
