Funding Appeal

Hi everyone, I need some advice please.

My GP told me today that we can appeal and request funding so that I can get an ASD assessment. I have a solicitor letter that NAS sent me, and my GP is going to write a letter and include my screening results. He also wants me to write a letter, and we put it all together and send it off.

I have no idea what I should put in my letter, any suggestions or advice would be gratefully appreciated.

    I would formally like to appeal your decision  and request the funds to cover the cost of my ASD assessment.

    I have included a letter from a NAS Solicitor ( name of solicitor )  and a Letter from my GP which includes my screening results which indicate me to be probably autistic. 

    here are  reasons and/or traits  why I believe I am autistic

    1.reason one/trait 1

    2  reason 2/trait 2

    3 reason 3/trait 3

    4 reason 4/trait 4

    5 reason 5/trait 5

    ...

    I would love the opportunity to know if I am autistic or not  so I can start working on the correct issues identified in an assessment by a professional. When I know what my diagnosis actual is, I can work from there.

    My search would be over, my mental angst will likely decrease and I can settle down. I can then  get on with the rest of my life.
