Confirmation of autism?

So I was meant to have confirmation of either way today which didn't happen (but that's another issue). I am worried about what happens if they turn around and say I don't have autism? I know I should be happy about that but then it means I still don't have an answer for why I can't read social interactions and facial expressions; how I cant even cope with simple tasks; how I cant even hold down a job. Another reason why I'm afraid about it is because what happens then? Will I still be welcome on this site? I am probably overreacting anyway but please let me know. Thanks for listening to my rambling.

  • if they do go for "u dont have autism" they will place u somewhere  i mean you will maybe have  a unique and very specific diagnosis.

yea u are over reacting but thats to be expected and very autistic Hint hint Slight smile

You will be still welcome but I reckon you will eventually drift away naturally  if u are not autistic, which is fine.   While u are here, your experience and thoughts will be most welcome and valuable to people coming after u.

u could have social anxiety which can be managed/reduced  with social training,,, autism is more hard wired.   Even ADHD can be treated more successfully than autism and is more accepted in work ( from my experience ) .

So in short I hope u dont have autism and I hope you get the answers to your issues so you can work on them.

if u do have autism ............   its wow!  now what ?

Get back to me with your diagnosis whatever it is and we can talk some more.

    U're nearly there Slight smile
