Confirmation of autism?

So I was meant to have confirmation of either way today which didn't happen (but that's another issue). I am worried about what happens if they turn around and say I don't have autism? I know I should be happy about that but then it means I still don't have an answer for why I can't read social interactions and facial expressions; how I cant even cope with simple tasks; how I cant even hold down a job. Another reason why I'm afraid about it is because what happens then? Will I still be welcome on this site? I am probably overreacting anyway but please let me know. Thanks for listening to my rambling.

It's always awful waiting for something as important as the outcome of an assessment,.

Fortunately, it does sound like you'll be hearing very soon, but if you don't, then why not give them a call, or email?

Meanwhile, try not to let your thoughts run wild.  I know that's easier said than done, but hang in there.

I hope you get some news very soon.
