Does your assessment get sent to your GP?

hI, iI'm just wondering if anyone know this? I had my assessment in November and assumed my report would be sent to my GP as well as me. I've recently changed my GP and they say they haven't got a copy of my report? I told them I have a copy I could copy for them but I assumed they automatically get sent notification?

  • Your autism assessment should be recorded on the shared National Heath Service computer system that GP, Hospital and other National Heath service’s share. If it was done privately than your doctors surgery should of been sent a copy. Your Doctors secretary may have misplaced or not got round to uploading a copying to your records or your doctor is too lazy to look through the complex computer system to find it.
