My Dissertation :) 'Help'

Hi Everyone!

My name is Alice and I'm a student studying PR and Communications Management at Solent University. I'm in my last year and currently starting my dissertation!

My dissertation is about "How Autistic Females are represented in the media". I aim to investigate what the current situation is within 4 areas (the science of autism, gender disparities between males and females with autism, autism awareness in females and portrayals and stereotypes of autism in the media) in order to come up with possible solutions to enhance autism within the media and awareness of it.

I just wondered if anyone had some useful resources or information I could look at to do with this subject? I also don't mind discussions in the comments! It'll be great to get some views and opinions from Autistic females on the spectrum, professionals and anyone else :)  Imp going to be completing a survey for people to fill in mid February so if anyone wants to help and do one closer to then that'll be amazing!

I'm an autistic female myself and feel this was important to investigate. It's definitely interesting to explore as females are less known with autism than males still (although its getting better!)

I read that you'll have a survey for people to fill in around mid-February. Please note that you need approval from NAS in order to post a survey:
