As autistic people we are hopeless at “reading between the lines” and take things very much literally. This can have serious consequences.
I would like to illustrate this at out autistic meeting next week and wonder if any have good examples of misunderstandings that ASD people have had that neurotypical s would not do.
eg The cooking smells really nice -asd literal , neurotypical can I join you for a meal
