You need balance and I think that's the whole point of Anakin, you can't just have light without dark, you need both....you just need to understand that and I'm sure that's the reason for him (btw, did I mention a friend of mine was in the animation team for the last star wars movie? I waited for ages at the end credits to see his name).

My daughter bought me a Jedi robe / dressing gown for Christmas - when I tried it on, it had so much static energy that I was making visible sparks - just like Palpatine!

I guess my Midi-chlorean count must be almost 20,000.
