- Pay off credit card then bin the thing
- Get assessed somehow, private or not I don't care anymore ha
- Try and do at least one driving lesson (for the longer term goal of leaving this 9-5 rent/mortgage paying bull*** world behind and living in some kind of converted van instead)
- Try to like myself more (tough, might have already given up )
I've been wondering about driving lessons. Driving freaks me out; i'm hopeless following verbal instructions; and I'd be overwhelmed by the practicalities of owning a car. But I can see the value it'd have to get me to the fells to run, walk, swin, camp.
That's pretty much the reason I haven't even tried lessons at all so far, I know I'll get overwhelmed in every lesson and I'm not competent enough to even keep a job that pays enough to own a car but I'm hopeful (or at least trying to be) that I can get there eventually with all the smaller income streams I'll have soon put together, get this credit card all paid off then start slowly learning to drive and hope that I can afford the vehicle fast enough to not forget how to drive
I'm absolutely dying to get out of this city, I don't know if I'd like living somewhere more remote full time either though, so a home on wheels seems the best solution
It's great you've a plan and seem determined to make it happen. Keep us up to date. I'm gonna think more about whether I've the courage to learn!
