Get a retirement career somewhat different from my previous career. part-time, a bit more creative or useful, and perhaps virtually taking me away from the numerous DIY tasks i already do at home.
I'm thinking this morning (yet again) that I would like to do salvage; because someone (yet again) asked me to help with a room cleanout this morning. After I had figured out using some of the items as workshop storage, realised what could easily be repaired and sent some other items to folks who would immediately put them to use, there was almost nothing left as real trash; but I expect the local recyclers will even put that remainder to some use. I'm hoping there is now a bit of impetus in both my country of residence and the UK for some real effort to reduce single-use stuff. There have recently been campaigns started in both places; it appears a bit like some good may eventually come out of the inconvenient truth of COVID.
Now that is also what I would call 'dynamic meditation'. it even puts quite a few elements of my previous careers together.
